L-carnitine, sometimes known as levocarnitine, is best known for its ability to help your body transform fats into usable energy. It's involved in the energy production process, making sure your cells' engines (mitochondria) burn those fats efficiently.

While your body can create L-carnitine on its own, some may need an extra boost, especially if you follow a vegan diet or face genetic challenges in producing enough. That's where supplements come in! For all of its hormone-related health benefits*, L-carnitine isn't talked about enough. Pair this with its versatility, and you have one of the most underrated vitamins out there.

Ingredients (per serve): N-acetyl L-carnitine (1.5g).

L-Carnitine may:

  • Support metabolic health by reducing cholesterol & triglycerides*
  • Positively affect body weight, body mass index (BMI), and body circumference*
  • Regulate menstrual cycles*

DO NOT DRY SCOOP!!!

I can't speak for the product it self as I have only used once so far. I usually dry scoop my inositol and I assumed I could do the same. The taste is absolutely repulsive! I think another review I read said it was tangy and she did not lie. It's actually worse than tangy. Kind of like a shot of white distilled vinegar. Yes, I did read that it said to put in liquid, but inositol does as well and doesn't taste as nearly as bad. I'm giving it 2 stars for it being on time for delivery and will update my review if I see results.

taste is off

I received a different bottle of L-Carnitine than I have in the past. The taste is completely repulsive and I cannot even hide the taste by putting it in something else. When I inquired about why my product taste different, I was told that I received the UK version and that this is only "a bit more tangy" than the other one. "Tangy" would not be how I would describe this taste. It is repulsive and undrinkable. If you are going to change your product and it be different than what was previously sent, you need to tell your customers so. Very disappointed. HandBVitamins was unwilling to send out a new bottle or refund my money.

Life Changing

I started taking L-Carnitine about a month ago. This is the first time in the last decade that I have had sustained energy throughout the day. It has been a complete game changer for me! The only negative is that it has messed with my digestive system, but I am working to figure out how to mitigate that.
