This daily moisturiser is not only incredibly lightweight, but also an ideal consistency to make this product suitable for both day and night time use.
We love many things about the moisturiser, especially the benefits that many of the key ingredients can help provide PCOS skin types in particular, to not only help dissolve dead skin but to deeply hydrate as well.
We have Aloe Vera as the base here instead of water which provides that extra nourishment and hydration. Given that it is high in vitamin c, has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties it will provide your skin with a barrier throughout the day and night. Plus, the salicylic acid and sulphur present in aloe vera also helps to fight acne.
Rosehip oil was non-negotiable when it came to the moisturiser. I knew I wanted incorporated, but for it to be second on the ingredient list was brilliant. I love rosehip for many reasons, but in terms of PCOS, I love how it can help target inflammation which is often seen in those with PCOS. It comes from your follicles being clogged by dead skin cells and oil, which allows blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples to form.
By regulating your sebum or skin oil production, the linoleic acid in rosehip oil which is in the moisturiser will help prevent whiteheads and blackheads from forming due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Rosehip oil also contains fatty acids that are useful for treating wounds and scars, including acne scars and should your skin follicles get inflamed and you break out into pus-filled blisters and acne lesions due to a flare up of your PCOS symptoms or a hormonal reason, rosehip oil may offer relief, as well as the aloe vera and the active ingredients in the formula.
Speaking of actives, the moisturiser contains Papaya, Pineapple and White Willow Bark as its active ingredient. Also featured in some of the other products in the range, these ensure that the moisturiser is not only going to thoroughly hydrate without clogging pores but protect the skin, reducing the chances of acne developing.

There are two main sources of Hyaluronic acid the first being animal extracted (from Rooster Combs typically) and the second being bacterial fermentation. Our material is from bacterial fermentation using glucose that is corn derived to create the hyaluronic acid in a bio fermentation process.
